Coming to Belgium

Current Travel Measures

On 23 May 2022, all travel measures, including the restriction on non-essential travel, were lifted.

This applies to all travelers to Belgium, including those from outside the European Union (and therefore, Japan). In other words:

  • Passenger Locator Form: not required
  • Proof of essential travel: not required
  • Certificate of vaccination or recovery: not required
  • Covid test before departure: not required
  • Covid test after arrival: not required
  • Quarantine: not required

Exception: For ‘very high risk countries’, some travel measures still apply. There are currently no countries designated as such.

Please always consult info-coronavirus.be before traveling in order to get the latest updates.
