Registration at the Embassy in Tokyo
Although it is not compulsory, your registration is highly recommended. Only registered Belgians can get the full range of services offered by the Embassy in Tokyo. Registration is free of charge. The consular registers are linked to the national register in Belgium. These registers are handled confidentially and you always have a right to access your file.
- Status "Registered" is only possible after you have been derigistered from the population registers of your municipality in Belgium.

- Personally at the Belgian Embassy after making an appointment via eAppointment

- Note! max 8MB / mail, documents in .pdf format. Not via a file sharing service (wetransfer / Google Docs / OneDrive /…)

-Status "Unregistered" (with address in the consular resort and in Belgium); This is for Belgians who wish to stay registered in the population registers of their municipality in Belgium.
