(2) D visa: Cases of legal exemption
- Japanese, Moroccan, Israeli, Turkish, and San Marino nationals (on basis of bilateral agreements)
- The spouse or child (under 18 years old) of a citizen of the European Union
- Students who hold a scholarship from a Belgian government, Belgian institution, Belgian university, or international institution in Belgium
